Equivalent kg of CO2 figures were taken from a 2018 study conducted by Joseph Poore and Thomas Nemecek (these figures and additional information can be found at Our World in Data).
Equivalent Car Miles were calculated using figures for average vehicle emissions provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
